ERASMUS INTERNSHIPS FOR LITHUANIAN STUDENTS OF SOCIAL SERVICES PROFESSIONAL FIELD

From April 15 to May 2, 2024 AMFI hosted a combined group students from Elektrėnai Vocational
Training Centre and Šilutė Vocational Training Centre, Lithuania. The Erasmus+ KA1 project No.
2023-1-LT01-KA121-VET-000127181 gave Lithuanian students of social services professional field the
possibility to deepen their knowledge and skills, getting in touch with the Italian culture and lifestyle.
Main goal of the internships was to improve the competencies of learners in foreign business
enterprises in order to achieve competitiveness in the global labor market. Students of social
services professional field used the possibilities to improve their professional skills and increase the
competitiveness by acquiring real workplace experience, especially by taking care of people with
special needs and assisting them in daily situations.
As mobility is not only for professional but also for cultural development, participant had a chance to feel the Italian lifestyle and culture, visit Italian capital Rome.
Spring classes at Act Too Players sound like a great chance for young performers to develop their skills. It is wonderful when community theatres offer such opportunities.
